About Real Accounting Solutions
Hi, I’m Kelly Real, the owner of Real Accounting Solutions, and I’m passionate about helping small businesses take the stress out of managing their finances.
If you’ve found your way to my site, it’s likely you’re a small business owner yourself. I started my small business for many of the same reason you likely started yours:
- The freedom of being my own boss
- The flexibility to spend more time with my husband and 5 year old son
- The opportunity to fill a need in my community
- The desire to serve others who share the dream of business ownership
The bookkeeping side of business ownership is not everyone’s cup of tea, and that’s where I come in.
Prior to founding Real Accounting Solutions, I spent a decade doing bookkeeping, payroll (20+ employees), 401k administration, and health and business insurance management for a small ($15mil/yr) Baltimore-based business. I’m familiar with QuickBooks Desktop as well as QuickBooks Online. I have the skills and experience to help you clean up and streamline your day to day bookkeeping so that you can focus your time and energy on building your business. Well kept, up to date books allow business owners to see important financials at a glance, which allows for informed management and decision making.
When I’m not crunching numbers, I enjoy walking and hiking, cooking, and long walks alone in Target. I love music and always have a song in my head (fair warning: I am known to occasionally burst into song). I’ve been married for 7 years, and we have a 5 year old son who is having a blast in Kindergarten. I’m a graduate of Towson University.
